- Dec. 13, 2011: The Terminal 4 Escalator Replacement portion of the PHX Sky Train™ project received Elevator World magazine’s 15th Annual Project of the Year Award for Category 4, Escalator Modernization. Articles for the Project of the Year Award winners will appear in the January 2012 issue of the magazine.

- June 18, 2007: The American Public Transportation Association (APTA) presented its first ever Transit Elevator and Escalator Project of the Year Awards. The 2007 APTA Rail Transit Conference witnessed the presentation of the awards which took place on June 5. The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) escalator modernization project received the Escalator Project of the Year Award.

- January 2007: Vertical Transportation Excellence’s (VTX®) Escalator Modernization project for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s George Washington Bridge Bus Station received Project of the Year from Elevator World, the vertical transportation industry’s publication. The winners of the Annual Elevator World Project of the Year represents projects which exemplified team effort and the ability to overcome challenges, and the desire and ability, on behalf of project participates, to rise above and beyond the call of duty to bring the projects to completion on time, within budget and to the clients’ satisfaction.

- November 2005: Vertical Transportation Excellence(VTX®) was recently recognized by MarCom in its annual creative awards competition. VTX's Marketing and Corporate Identity received the highest award, Platinum, while VTX's Corporate Web Site received Gold.
