Kubik Named Project Manager for VTX

March 3, 2010/Baltimore, Md.: William M. Kubik was recently hired as a project manager for Vertical Transportation Excellence’s (VTX) Baltimore office. VTX provides a wide range of elevator and escalator consulting services to the aviation, educational, healthcare, and public transportation markets, including commercial and governmental, across the United States.

Bringing with him 21 years of engineering, design, and project management experience, Kubik’s responsibilities include project management, developing standards for elevator and escalator designs, providing solutions for upgrading existing installations, conducting in-depth safety inspections to meet code and special requirements, and assisting clients and designers with the interpretation of official codes.

Kubik is a member of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) and the Chesapeake Area Society of Healthcare Engineering (CASHE).  

VTX operates as a division of Gannett Fleming, Inc., an international planning, design, and construction management firm.
